Why this works

Most advice, especially that given to neurodivergents, tells you to “fix” your weaknesses. This does the opposite. We double down on what makes you naturally brilliant and use that to drive your career forward.

When I needed this side quest the most

When I first started my coaching business I felt completely out of my depth. I knew I was good at coaching but the business stuff? I had no idea how to do any of it. And unlike a game, there were so many contradictory tutorials out there, how could I know which one to trust?

In one of my days spiralling I remembered something: I’d taken a strengths assessment years ago and completely forgotten about it. When I revisited it - this time post diagnosis with a new understanding of how my AuDHD brain actually worked - everything clicked. 

I realised that I didn’t need to follow anyone’s tutorial and I didn’t need to fix myself. My strengths already had capacity to set me up for success, I just had to start using them deliberately because the more I tried to put on a persona, the further away from success I got.

  • I wasn’t scattered, I was driven by my curiousity

  • I wasn’t indecisive, I was gathering the right information

  • I wasn’t “bad” at traditional structures, I just thrived when I built a system that worked for me.

And when I started helping others to do the same, the results spoke for themselves:

I distinctly remember client L. Before we worked together she felt stuck. She believed she’d never progress in her career because she wasn’t a “super charismatic star influencer”. She saw leadership as something loud, bold and magnetic - none of which she felt described her.
